Tom, by posting this I hope to get a USA Flag next to your name (showing you served in the USAF for 4 years 1965-1969). RIP, Don S.
PS: I remember spending 12 hours ( starting at 2 pm) on the ground in our plane in a blizzard (Winter 1968) while you attempted to repair our radio and replaced it at least a dozen times before Major Piche figured out the problem. You then adjusted the wires and as you left the plane we spoke. Had you not fixed the radio, we would have been killed as we (shortly thereafter) took off at (2 am) only to lose all 4 engines every few minutes for 7 hours ( note: for 7 hours we were able to restart the engines before hitting the ground). (we were 30,000 lbs heavy with ice and snow) . 9am we finally were able to land. So, anyway, you proudly served the USAF and deserve a flag. Don Schoenfisch
Emil, you were my great neighbor (I lived next door) and we had fun doing what kids do (fishing, fixing old cars, etc). I actually stopped in your shop (years ago) but you were out on an erran , and I figured I would return some day when passing by WP, but "life" got in the way and the years passed. Anyway, rest in Peace.
Don S.
Susan, another year and another wish that you have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY from a guy you most likely do not remember, that that is "OK" as sometimes I cannot remember myself !!
Anyway, another year and despite my efforts I cannot remember or find that name of the WP grammar school we attended prior to the Memorial school. Take Care: Don
Ray, (as I just did with your brothers' profile), I just wanted to say I hope you are Resting In Peace. I also hope you are having FUN , PERHAPS PLAYING GOLF ??
It's funny how we sometimes remember brief instances in our lives about something we were doing. I always remember the time you and I were playing golf (against each other) at the private country club in North Cardwell NJ (on a Monday when the course was closed to everyone but Caddies (which we were). ) WE played 9 holes for a ONE DOLLAR BET , and you had your full set of clubs and all I had was two old wooden putters (no other clubs) . I won that round and you commented "You won because you are CHEAP!!) HA HA !! ""

I hope you are Resting in Peace but also having fun !! It was always assuring to see that you were on our Radar Planes fixing my radios' before each mission. To know that someone I grew up with was the person assuring good communications between us and the ground stations was comforting. I was sadden to learn of your death in 1970 or 1971 but knew you were in a better place. Don Schoenfisch class of 1966 & USAF 66-70
Carol, I came across your picture in the yearbook. It's been a long long time, but upon seeing your picture I remembered seeing you (recognizing you as I was driving by on leave from the USAF in Little Falls). "WE" talked about PVHS . I hope all is well and you are having a good life.

Susan, its been 3 years since I wished you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! I happen to live in Brockton, MA If you do not remember who I am (and of course why should you) (ha) , I was the blond haired kid on the school bus as we returned from grammer school (whatever the name of that old school was). Anyway, Take Care. Don
Nancy's last name was Frost. My brother Bill was always kind and willing to help whenever possible. He struggled for the past 4 years with memory loss and every few days WE lost another little part of him. May my brother rest in peace and hopefully he is somewhere having FUN. Love, Donald
