Paulette Mildred Crockett, 77, of Meshoppen, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born on January 17, 1947 in Singac, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Telep) Jancio.

She graduated from Passaic Valley Regional High School in Little Falls, New Jersey in 1964. Throughout her career, Paulette held jobs in finance and healthcare, last serving as a transcriptionist.

Paulette loved people, cats, food, and laughter. She enjoyed listening to Russian Orthodox music, was a voracious reader of thriller novels, and was passionate about genealogy and current affairs.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Crockett, who in birth inherited her sense of humor and who, with her mother's passing, will inherit a handsome sum of cat toys. She is survived by her cousin, Frank Robert Wheeler.

Paulette was an incredible mother who gave unconditional love and support at every moment. She taught her daughter what it means to be confident, creative, and kind.
