Al was a good friend and very loyal to people around him. I knew him since elementary school. He had a good sense of humor and was the type of individual who you could be at ease with any time. I didn't keep in touch with Al over the years but we crossed paths a few times. He was one of the few people from high school whose presence sticks in your mind.
