Marie Patterson
Registered nurse, adoring great-grandmother
Marie (Banks) Patterson passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at her home in Little Falls.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Roy, and her daughter, Joan Marie Hartmann. She is survived by her son Roy David Patterson and her daughter, Beverly Sharpe. She was a devoted grandmother to Erich Hartmann and his wife Erika, Patrick Hartmann and his wife Kim, Katie (Sharpe) Bowler and her husband Zach, Elise (Hartmann) DeLatour and her husband Frank and Steven Sharpe. Marie adored her five great-grandchildren- Evie, Frankie, Claire, Caden and Alex- beyond words and cherished the time she had with each of them. She also leaves behind a beloved extended family, neighbors and friends.
Marie was a lifelong resident of Little Falls and a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church. She graduated from Passaic Valley High School in June of 1947 and then attended St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse for 74 years. Her last job was as the nurse for the township of Little Falls.
