School Story:

I taught Senior English for 3 years at PVHS. Gave birth to my first son & was hired to fill in for a maternity leave at MHS Cedar Grove.
Completed that assignment & had my second son.
Moved to Hopatcong with family & became acquainted with neighbors & made some new friends.
In 1981, when my younger son started Kindergarten, I was hired to teach Basic Skills Language Arts in Hopatcong Middle School.
In 1986, I lost Nick, my husband, quite suddenly.
Spent the rest of my career in Hopatcong and retired in 2004.
Since then I have volunteered with the Mental Health Players & have performed throughout northern NJ at various venues.
Joined Hopatcong Municipal Alliance, where I coached Girls on the Run until my second husband’s illness caused me to step down from coaching. I continue to volunteer with the Alliance, planning Alliance programs for Senior Citizens.
Currently hunkered down due to Co-Vid. Reading, writing & getting on with life.
